Methods to Get Maximum Output
Powerbanks are essentially external batteries that provide power to your phone using volts and amps. Below are some methods which will help to increase the speed and battery capacity you can get from powerbanks.
- Check for background apps running on your phone. Background apps can drain your phone’s battery even when the screen is turned off, this will reduce the charge from the Powerbank as your phone will be consuming battery as the Powerbank recharges. To increase the battery charge, turn off any background apps or set apps to sleep when your phone is turned off.
- Turn off Wi-Fi when the screen is off. Some phones have the option to disable background Wi-Fi when the screen is off, this will reduce the drain on your battery while charging.
- Turn off Bluetooth, like Wi-Fi Bluetooth which operates in the background can also reduce the charge. It is recommended to turn this off when not in use.
- Switch your phone into battery-saving mode while charging, this will increase the amount of charge you will get from your Powerbank and also increase the charging speed.
- If you really need a fast charge and don’t immediately need to use your phone, turn your phone off while charging. This is the fastest method to charge a phone as there will be no power dissipation while your phone is charging.

Maintenance & Safety Information
- a) Do not use your Powerbanks in high temperatures and humidity:
Whenever you charge your laptop, it may happen, the system just crashes when it gets too hot. The same law works for the Powerbanks also. Powerbanks are made up of Lithium-ion or Lithium-Ion batteries that use internal cells for power storage. Thus, overheating and excessive temperature leads these Powerbanks to explode.
- b) Do not use your Mobile Phone while charging:
Whenever you use your mobile device while charging, you may notice that it gets hot. This is the same for the Powerbank also that it will lead to an explosion while charging. So, don’t do such activities as playing games or chatting with friends whenever your mobile devices are getting charged by the Powerbank.
- c) Do not charge your Powerbank until it’s fully discharged:
Charge your Powerbank devices when it totally runs out of power. This will increase the lifespan of your Powerbank.
- d) Use your Powerbank regularly:
Use and recharge your Powerbank frequently. This will help to maintain your Powerbank and increase the lifespan of the battery.
- e) Avoid using an external charger:
Use only the original charger to charge your Powerbank rather than any external one. Using an external charger not only affects your Powerbank but also your mobile devices.
- f) Handle your Powerbank with care:
Avoid dropping or knocking. Do not put heavy things on your Powerbank. Do not sit on it as Powerbanks are too sensitive.
Safe Disposal
Dead batteries can cause fire when the positive (+ve) and negative (-ve) ends come into contact. This can happen when battery cells are casually dumped in a drawer or container, especially with other free-flowing metals that can conduct electricity and ignite. Ensure you keep old batteries safely - perhaps stand them upright, all facing one direction or tape the +ve & -ve ends of batteries. Ensure they are tightly packed to avoid sudden movement that can scatter them, and then consider appropriate means of disposal as indicated below.
- Find out what your local laws say about disposing of batteries. In some places, different classifications for various batteries indicate how best to dispose of them.
- Take to a recycling place or hazardous waste collection centre depending on your local laws.
- Lithium batteries are used in many gadgets and are considered non-hazardous in some places. It might be safer to take them to a recycling centre.
- At home, put your recyclable batteries in a designed container ensuring positive and negative ends don’t touch; to avoid the risk of fire.
- In some places, supermarkets are also providing safe recycling bins for old batteries.
- You can also pop into your local fire station for advice and assistance.
SAFETY ALERTS AND GUIDELINES
Warning and Caution
Keep away from fire, water and excess temperature ( > 45°C ) and too low temperature ( <-20°C)
Keep the Powerbank away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, water or other liquids.
Please do not remove, or modify products, in order to avoid damage to the product protection and leading to fire or explosion.
Do not dismantle, crush, puncture and short circuit the Powerbank, or expose it to liquids, fire or an environment where the temperature is above 55°C.
Store in a cool and dry place.
Do not operate the Powerbank if it has been wet or damaged to prevent electric shock. Doing so may cause electric shock or fire and the battery may malfunction or explode. Don’t store your device together with metal objects, such as coins, keys and necklaces.
Please do not severely cast, throw, or hit the Powerbank, in order to protect products from abnormal phenomena such as sag, perforation, craze and corrosion, please stop using and contact vendors or manufacturers.
This Powerbank is not suitable for physiological and mentally low individuals (including children) use.
The Powerbank will generate heat when charging. Use it in a well-ventilated area when charging.
Do not use the Powerbank with wet hands.
Keep the Powerbank ports free from dust, lint, etc. which may prevent proper connections.
The Powerbank is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
Lithium-ion batteries can easily rupture, ignite, or explode when exposed to high temperatures, or direct sunlight. Do not charge under pillows or blankets. They should not be stored in a car during hot weather. Short-circuiting a Li-ion battery can also cause it to ignite or explode. Never open a Li-ion battery’s casing. Li-ion batteries contain safety devices that protect the cells inside from abuse. If damaged, these can cause the battery to ignite or explode. Do not charge the Powerbank and charge an electronic device at the same time. This will shorten the Powerbank’s battery life.
Please read the user manual carefully before using the Product.
How to preserve your Powerbank when unused
- a) Store Powerbank at 40%-50% Charge
Many users often store their Powerbanks fully charged or at very high charge levels. This wears out the Li-ion/Li-Po batteries very quickly and should always be avoided.
Similarly, many users store depleted Powerbanks for long after a trip and only charge the Powerbanks before their next trip. This should also be avoided as keeping the batteries in a depleted state for a long period effectively kills the battery in a few months.
The optimum charging for storage for modern Li-ion or Li-Ion batteries is about 40 to 50%. You should therefore aim to not discharge the Powerbanks below this level for long periods.
- b) Keep Powerbank Store in a Cool Area
Powerbanks use chemical reactions to produce electricity and like all chemical reactions’ higher temperatures lead to faster reactions. Powerbank degradation is also temperature dependent and keeping Powerbanks in hot storage will degrade them very fast.
Ideally, keep the Powerbanks at room temperature (60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit or 20-28 degrees Celsius). Also always avoid storing the Powerbanks in enclosed glass cases exposed to sunlight or in overly hot workplaces.
The best-kept-cool rule also applies during use. A hot Powerbank will discharge much more quickly.
Keeping Powerbanks cool does not mean that you should refrigerate them or keep them in cold conditions. The freezing temperature will disable the Powerbank altogether. A too cold Powerbank will also take ages to charge.
Precautions
- a) Some USB data cables or USB charging cables, that are not compatible with the Powerbank or can't be used should be avoided, instead choose or purchase the charging cable of the same mobile brand (to get 100W Charging Output).
- b) When the Power Bank won't charge digital products, please check the charging cable and connectors, whether connected properly or change the cable. After digital devices are fully charged, please unplug the charging cable timely to avoid power loss.
- c) Because of the high charge and discharge current, please choose good quality charging cables and connectors.
- d) Please make sure the Powerbank is fully charged when using it for the first time. Make sure that the product is fully charged at least once in two or three months.
- e) Prolonged use will lead to fever but will not be extremely hot, which is a normal phenomenon.
- f) During charging of the Powerbank, please unplug the cable within 30mins when the Powerbank is fully charged else overcharging will harm the battery.
- g) While using output through a single port Powerbank delivers maximum power but if dual or more ports are used at the same time then the Powerbank will divide power into two or three.
For Example: Power Bank Maximum Current delivers 5A.

Usage Instructions
- a) Charging: Avoid leaving your Powerbank on prolonged charge as this may cause it to overheat. Follow Ambrane’s guidelines by the time required to fully charge your Powerbank. If the Powerbank becomes excessively hot during charging or discharging, unplug it from the power source or your mobile device immediately. Avoid charging the Powerbank in places that build up heat, such as on your bed.
- b) Avoid short circuits: Keep your Powerbank away from metal objects such as coins, paper clips and keys. Do not insert any metal objects inside the USB output port or joining terminals of the Powerbank. Short circuits may present risks of excessive heat, fire or explosion.
- c) Storage: Keep the Powerbank in a cool and dry place away from heat sources, moisture and dust. Avoid leaving the Powerbank in places with high temperatures such as cars parked under the sun.
- d) Avoid applying excessive pressure on the Powerbank or dropping the Powerbank: By doing so, it may damage the internal components of the Powerbank and risk short-circuiting the device when used. Always inspect the Powerbank and refrain from using it if leakage, strange odour, colour changes, deformation or any unusual occurrences are detected.
e) Do not Use Pass-through Charging:
Pass-through charging means using the Powerbank to charge your devices while the Powerbank itself is being charged. This wears down the batteries very fast and should be avoided.
Troubleshooting
Factory Reset: The PowerLit Ultra is designed to safeguard against short-circuiting by entering a temporary, protective mode, waiting to be reset. To reset, connect the Powerbank to an AC to DC/wall adapter via a quality charging cable and plug the AC to DC adapter into the wall socket; unplug and re-plug the Powerbank’s side of the cable while leaving the AC to adapter plugged in the socket.
Battery Voltage Down: No use or no charging on the Powerbank for such a long time, the battery voltage goes to absolute discharge level or cut-off level means the voltage is below low voltage. At this stage, the Powerbank will not turn ON even if not on charging (the LED indicator will not blink). At this stage, you need to boost up the battery voltage or your need to put your Powerbank on charging for 5 to 6 hours.
Problem Detection
LED lights blinking but the Powerbank won’t charge
In some cases, the Powerbank is not charging even though it’s plugged in and the LED lights are blinking, thus indicating that charging is taking place. Even if you wait for several hours or a day, the Powerbank just won’t charge. There are possibilities that it charges halfway with the lights showing it is not yet fully charged or there is a possibility that its internal circuits can be failed.
The Powerbank battery might have died
a) If your Powerbank does not appear to be getting charged as no lights turn on when connected to a power source nor it charges your mobile phone when connected to it, then it is likely that the Powerbank has suffered an internal failure.
- b) If the Powerbank suffered a hard shock like a fall or was left in a hot environment for a long time, there is a possibility that its internal circuits have failed.
- c) If you have used your Powerbank quite frequently, then it is possible that the batteries have completed their life. Powerbank batteries have a life of 300 to 1000 power cycles, depending on the usage of the customer.
