Product Overview
Operating Instructions
Power ON / OFF
- To power ON: Plug the power adapter into a wall socket, then connect it to the soundbar or subwoofer. Press the Power/Standby button on the soundbar or remote.
- To power OFF: Press the same Power/Standby button again, or turn off the wall socket.
Note: After turning on, the system may take a second or two to initialise.
Bluetooth Pairing (Wireless Mode)
- Press the Input / Mode button on the remote or the soundbar until “BT” mode appears on the display.
- On your device (phone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for “Evoke Bar 200”.
- Select it to pair. Upon successful pairing, you will hear a confirmation tone.
- For future use, when the soundbar is powered ON, it should connect automatically to the last paired device (if Bluetooth is ON and within range).

Plug a USB flash drive containing MP3 (or compatible files) into the USB port. The soundbar should switch automatically to USB mode. |

EQ / Sound Modes
Evoke Bar 200 includes preset modes to suit different content:
- Movie Mode — optimised for cinema audio (enhanced surround, dialogues, etc.)
- Music Mode — flatter, perfect for songs
- News / Voice Mode — emphasises vocal clarity
Switch between Music, Movie, and News modes by pressing the corresponding buttons on the remote. The selected mode will be shown on the display.
Wall Mounting & Placement Tips
- The Evoke Bar 200 supports wall mounting. Use the included wall-mounting brackets and screws.
- Ensure the wall is strong and can bear the weight of the soundbar.
- Maintain a minimum clearance below or above (e.g. several cm) to prevent blocking of sound or ventilation.
- Use appropriate screws and anchors per wall type (concrete, drywall, etc.).
- Align the soundbar horizontally and centered relative to the TV for best sound experience.
- If mounting the subwoofer, ensure they are placed in open space, not blocked by objects or furniture.

Troubleshooting / FAQs
- The soundbar is powered on but no sound?
- Check if the correct Input / Mode is selected.
- Confirm cables (HDMI / Optical / AUX) are firmly connected.
- For Bluetooth, ensure your device’s volume is not muted, and the pairing is successful.
- Try switching to another input to isolate the issue.
- Bluetooth won’t pair or unable to discover?
- Turn Bluetooth OFF/ON on your device.
- Forget / unpair previous entries and re-pair.
- Bring the source device closer to the soundbar (within 1–2 m).
- Ensure no interference from other electronic devices.
- Remote not working or buttons unresponsive?
- Check and replace the remote battery.
- Ensure the remote is aimed in a straight line to the soundbar’s IR sensor (no obstruction).
- Try powering the soundbar via panel button instead.
- Distortion or sound cuts out at high volume?
- Lower the volume a bit; the source or soundbar may be hitting its output limit.
- Avoid using excessive bass boost or EQ settings.
- Ensure the subwoofer / soundbar is not blocked or obstructed.
- Soundbar emits a humming or noise?
- This could be due to ground loops or interference. Try changing the power socket or using a power conditioner.
- Keep audio cables away from power cables.
- Avoid placing near large appliances or heavy electrical equipment.
